This October, Hokr Painting is turning the work we do every day into meaningful support for

 triple-negative breast cancer research and the people affected by this disease.

For every apartment turn we paint during the month of October, Hokr Painting will donate $5 to the Triple Negative Breast Cancer Foundation.

Breast Cancer Awareness Month has a different meaning for me now.

In 2024, I was diagnosed with triple-negative breast cancer, and went through months of treatments - an experience that changed my perspective in more ways than I can put into words.

Today, I’m incredibly grateful to be on the other side of active treatment, and I’ve thought a lot about how I wanted Hokr Painting to recognize Breast Cancer Awareness Month. There’s already a lot of pink in October. I didn't want us to simply wear pink or talk about raising awareness. I wanted us to do something tangible. For the women facing this disease today, awareness isn't enough. We need continued research, better treatments, support—and action.

Triple-negative breast cancer has been part of my story, so supporting an organization dedicated specifically to this disease felt like the right place for us to make an impact.

That's how Paint for Pink: Turns That Matter began.

Apartment turns are at the heart of what we do at Hokr Painting. During a busy month, our painters may complete hundreds of them throughout the Twin Cities. So this October, we're making every one count for something more.

$5 DONATED FOR EVERY OCTOBER TURN

For every apartment turn Hokr Painting completes from October 1–31, we'll donate $5 to the Triple Negative Breast Cancer Foundation.

$2,500 MINIMUM COMMITMENT

No matter how many turns we complete, Hokr Painting is committed to donating at least $2,500.

ONE SHARED PURPOSE

Our painters and office team will be wearing our Paint for Pink shirts and hats throughout October as a reminder of the people behind this disease - those currently in treatment, survivors, families, caregivers, researchers and everyone working toward better outcomes.
